Ana Portugal Melo and Jorge Oliveira (CEO and CTO of BioData.pt) visited CIIMAR on March 3rd, 2022.

They were warmly welcomed by Ana Paula Mucha, a member of the CIIMAR Board of Directors, and Filipe Castro, CIIMAR’s Researcher, who have provided a guided tour to CIIMAR’s facilities and teams.

The visit proceeded with a very prolific work meeting which allowed us to strengthen and articulate the participation of the CIIMAR team in the communities, events, and future plans of the BioData.pt Association.

CIIMAR generates a great amount of biological data and is dedicated to good data management practices. Currently, CIIMAR's Researcher Susana Moreira is participating in the “Ready for BioData Management?: Data Stewardship for Life Sciences Training Program”, organized by BioData.pt | ELIXIR-PT.
