At the same day of the BioData.pt Technical Meeting, last Wednesday in the afternoon, BioData.pt had some distinctive guests that develop Wine and Wineyard R&D from institutions and companies such as: IBET; INIAV; SOGRAPE; UTAD (Univ. Trás os Montes e Alto Douro), Faculdade de Ciências (Univ. Lisboa), Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, X-Chroma Lab. (Univ do Minho).

Together with the BioData.pt team members a discussion was promoted about Wine and vineyard: Bioinformatics challenges. 

Important and relevant issues like the advanced data management made by the wine and winery sector, their goals and requirements to make this management successful were argued at this meeting.
